As we age, the production of collagen in our bodies diminishes. This leads to our skin becoming wrinkled, loose, saggy and lacking in elasticity. To put it another way, things start to defy gravity and head south. This leads to a number of signs of ageing to the face, features and neck. By replacing this collagen with fillers and using anti-wrinkle treatments to relax the muscles that produce frown lines etc, you can slow down the ageing process and regain those youthful looks. There are a number of ways in which you can do this either using the treatments in isolation or combining Botox and dermal fillers. While some of these treatments are more common than others, we offer an extensive range of Plymouth aesthetic fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments including the following:
Lip Fillers
Alongside Botox, Plymouth lip fillers are perhaps our most popular treatment. Whether you just want a small amount to make your lips a little fuller or you want to add even more volume to already full lips, we are happy to help.
What is the treatment suitable for?
- Thin lips
- Lips that have lost volume with age
- For fuller looking lips with more volume
- To add definition to lips
Before the treatment is carried out, we numb the area with a topical anaesthetic then we inject the lips with filler to give them a more voluminous appearance.

Our Plymouth lip fillers are suitable for anyone over the age of 18 and it’s not just the ladies we treat. We see a number of gents too that want to add volume to their lips.
Liquid Rhinoplasty
If you have lumps and bumps in your nose but you don’t fancy the thought of expensive, painful and invasive surgery, then our Plymouth liquid rhinoplasty service could be just what you are looking for.
This procedure involves injecting filler into the nose to even out those lumps and bumps and smooth out the nose with amazing results! You can walk in feeling unhappy with your nose and walk out looking, and feeling, great! Imagine a nose job without having to go under the knife. Plymouth aesthetic fillers are in fact a wonderful alternative to cosmetic procedures which can be painful, invasive and expensive and come with much greater risks.

Nasolabial Folds
As you can see from the before photos below, nasolabial folds are those indentation lines on either side of the mouth. They extend from the edge of the nose to the outer corners of the mouth. Administering nasolabial fillers is a really simple procedure that makes such a difference to the appearance and confidence.
This treatment can be done in isolation, or as part of additional procedures. The results are instant – the before and after pictures below were literally taken before the treatment and straight after.

Plymouth Anti-Wrinkle Treatments
The following Plymouth anti-wrinkle treatments are usually either carried out in isolation or as part of a package of three treatments. When we treat the forehead lines, we are often asked to do the glabella lines and crow’s feet too. That‘s why for this particular treatment, it is so cost-effective to have all three done together.
Forehead Lines
These are the lines across the forehead that appear mainly when you raise your eyebrows. The older you get, the more pronounced these lines get. By injecting Botox into the lines, you relax the muscles that cause them. Not only does it get rid of the lines, it can also slow the process down. The less you can frown or raise your brows, the less work those muscles have to do.
Glabella Lines (11s)
Glabella lines are those lines that appear when you furrow your brow. If you are a frowner, you will be all too familiar with them. They can become so pronounced that they are permanent, no matter what your expression. Some people get two lines (hence the 11) while others get as many as five in the area between the brows.
In milder cases, anti-wrinkle injections are enough to get rid of the lines for a period of a few months and slow down their appearance but in some cases they can become so pronounced that you may also require filler to get rid of them. It really does depend on the individual and the look you want to achieve.
Crow’s Feet
Crow’s feet is the expression used to describe the fine lines and wrinkles that appear around the outer corner for your eye. They tend to splay out emulating the appearance of crow’s feet – hence the name. While a delicate area, it is easy to treat and just a small amount of Botox is enough to dissipate them for a few months or so.
Bunny Lines
When you wrinkle your nose, do you get fine lines appear on either side? As with most wrinkles, they form when you repeatedly carry out an action. This could be frowning, laughing, smiling or wrinkling your nose. The best way to get rid of them is with Botox or similar anti-wrinkle injections. A small amount strategically injected around the nose will reduce their appearance or get rid of them completely.
Marionette Lines (pre jowl)
As part of the ageing process, while the fat pads in our upper face will diminish over time, those in the lower face will become fuller. The skin then sags, drags downwards and develops folds – Marionette Lines are one such example.
They are very much like shadows that run vertically from the mouth to the chin and can be treated either with anti-wrinkle injections or using fillers. Dermal fillers can be used in this area, as well as in the cheeks to add structure and fill out the face, reducing the Marionette Lines while Botox can be used to relax the muscles which pull down the corner of the mouth, Often, the two are used together for optimum results.
Nefertiti Neck Lift
Botox can be administered to the lower face, jaw and neck, in what is known as a Nefertiti neck lift. This evens out the skin and offers a rejuvenating, uplifting effect.
Under Eye Lines
As with Crow’s feet, Plymouth anti-wrinkle injections are used to relax the muscles, preventing the area from becoming wrinkled with every day facial reactions.
Lip Lines (Smokers Lines)
More noticeable when you pucker the lips, as if holding a cigarette in your mouth, these lines really do have a powerful ageing effect. While they can be caused by smoking, this is not always the case. There are many other causes including pouting, sucking through a straw and the effects of the sun. They can either be treated with Botox to reduce the effect of the lines before they become too prominent or by using filler to even out the skin and restore the skin’s youthful appearance.
Facial Sculpting
Having fillers administered to the chin, jaw line and cheeks to create more defined features is also known as facial sculpting or augmentation. We have many examples of face and jaw augmentation, some of which can be seen below. If you want to add more definition to your chin or jaw, this procedure is quick and painless and avoids the downtime and other effects of having invasive, and painful cosmetic surgery.
The following image will help to clarify all of the above in relation to the various parts of the face. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about which treatments can be used to complement each other and the kind of results you can expect to achieve.

How Long Does the Treatment Last?
None of our treatments offer permanent results however, they are designed to last between three – 18 months depending on the treatment and an individual’s reaction to it. Everyone is different and while one treatment may last six months for someone, it may only last four months for someone else.
Why Choose Plymouth Aesthetic Fillers and Anti-Wrinkle Treatments?
There are many reasons to choose Plymouth aesthetic fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments over surgery. For a start, the cost is so much less, the downtime is next to nothing and fillers and anti wrinkle treatments are temporary. If something goes awry in a cosmetic procedure it is not easy to reverse. That’s not to say anything would go wrong but imagine you didn’t like the result after spending all that money and time recovering on a big procedure. these temporary treatments give you the option to go bigger, smaller, have more at a later date, less next time and means that you have more control over the procedures. Not to mention, they won’t leave such a dent on your finances.
Before we carry out any of our Plymouth aesthetic fillers and treatments, we will first consult with you, carry out a medical history and discuss the look and results that you are seeking to achieve. We always advise starting off with a recommended dose and then waiting to see the results achieved before topping up. It is always easier to add more than to overdo it on the first appointment!
